Today was a tough one.  What I look for really wasn't there.  I waited until the final time frame to place the trade.   They had some OTM strength to it but the farther OTM weren't expensive.   My commentary at 3:15pm was in part it shouldn't get much above 35400 if it gets there.   The issue with those is since their is a potential high not too far above your contract you are threading the needle a bit.   

Honestly with what nadex was showing me I didn't plan on trading.  I only did due to this project.   The 35349 was firm all hour so I had high hopes on that.   But the Dow got rocked by 90 points in 20 minutes after my trade entry only to rally hard the last 10 minutes to give it a win.

Normally I don't have a trade everyday.   The close for today was only about 12 points higher than the 3:15pm price which is why everything was pretty tight.  Not the best kind of day.   BUT, for this project I will be trading every trading day until the end of the year. 


3 contracts traded at $38.25 each.
Exit is $54 which is 35.9% on traded $$.

After commissions it was $13.75 profit per contract x 3.   
Net profit for the day $41.25

Yesterday's ending balance was $128
Today's profit $41.25

Ending balance $169.25

Here is day 1 of the 35% Nadex Edge trading.

I will be looking at the Dow each day after 3pm for any pricing clues I feel that they are giving me on what's ahead.

The goal is to make 35% on 1 trade in a day.  Starting balance is $100.   The entire capital is at risk each trade.    

A couple of notes on that.   

First, of course that isn't the entire capital that I have but is the capital allocated to this streak.  Second, I won't be able to exactly make 35% on the ENTIRE balance for the day due to pricing at Nadex.   For example today I was risking $40 per contract.  I could only buy 2 contracts in order to stay under the $100 capital.

Entry was at $40  exit was at $56.    So net is $14 per contract after commissions.
